At QBE we see claims as an essential part of the services we offer to our policyholders

Because we know that the claims process can solidify insurance relationships – or break them – we partner with you to ensure a fair and timely resolution to every claim.

Within the Canadian branch, claims are managed by a dedicated team of experienced claims handlers, loss adjusters and technical staff.  Our claims team is empowered and has the authority locally to settle claims.   

Where beneficial or requested by a policyholder, we may involve additional third parties to ensure that claims are managed and mitigated in the most effective way. QBE appointed adjusters and service providers adhere to QBE claims protocols and must meet key performance indicators and pre-established service levels.

Report a claim

In the event of a claim, unless your policy states otherwise, you should generally first contact the broker who originally arranged your policy.
